About Scene Puzzle

IteraPath Studio operates Scene Puzzle, a free collection of hidden-object and spot-the-difference games available on our websites and in our mobile apps. This policy covers scenepuzzle.com, game.scenepuzzle.com, and the Scene Puzzle Android and iOS apps.

You do not need an account to play. We do not ask you to provide your name, email address, contacts, or payment information to use the games. This does not mean that no information is processed: local game storage, website analytics, technical requests, and messages you send to support are described below.

Game progress and device storage

The websites use browser storage for progress, language preferences, and game state. The apps store progress, preferences, and downloaded game content on your device. When website analytics is permitted, gameplay also stores analytics-only dispatch information used to avoid sending duplicate events when a play attempt is reloaded. This is separate from game progress.

Local information can remain until you clear it, your browser or device removes it, or the app's data is removed. Clearing site or app data can reset progress and remove downloaded content. We do not provide a player account or cloud progress account to recover this information.

Connections and technical information

The websites and apps connect to hosting services to deliver pages, game catalogs, updates, and scene assets. These requests involve technical information such as IP address, requested resource, and request time. Hosting providers process this information to deliver and operate the service. Content downloads use HTTPS.

Pages served through Cloudflare may also use its Web Analytics beacon for page and performance measurements, such as loading timings. This hosting/performance service is separate from Google Analytics and gameplay events; the Google analytics choice below does not switch it off. See Cloudflare's explanation of its performance data collection.

Website analytics

Our websites use Google Analytics to understand visits and gameplay. Events include page views, language, scene impressions and selections, filter actions, time spent, and game starts, exits, and results. They can include scene and game-mode information, content and runtime versions, and a play-attempt identifier.

Google receives analytics data. Google Analytics can use first-party cookies and browser and device information to distinguish visits and sessions and measure interactions. Analytics information is separate from game progress stored locally.

The Google Analytics and website CMP descriptions apply to our websites, not a new advertising or consent SDK in our apps. If you open a Scene Puzzle website from an app, that website's practices apply to the visit.

See how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services, Google's Privacy Policy, and Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on applies to supported browsers; it is not an app-wide or all-device control.

Website privacy choices

Our websites use Google's consent management platform (CMP). Google determines which regional message applies. In the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland, the message offers consent, refusal and purpose-level choices. Where analytics consent is required, Google Analytics and analytics-only browser storage are enabled only after the analytics purpose is allowed. While a choice is unknown, refused or unavailable, we do not enable that processing. Where Google reports the purpose does not apply, website analytics can operate under the applicable regional settings.

You can reopen the European message using Privacy settings on each website and change or withdraw your choice. Withdrawal stops subsequent analytics processing; it does not erase data already received by Google. We do not send a backlog of interactions from a refused period. Refusing or withdrawing analytics does not stop the game or erase your progress, language settings or downloaded content.

For applicable US states, Google's native Do not sell or share link provides the available opt-out. Google's message handles applicable Global Privacy Control signals and regional advertising choices. An advertising opt-out is separate from the analytics purpose. Choices are managed by Google for the website you visit; you may need to make choices on both scenepuzzle.com and game.scenepuzzle.com.

The Google CMP and AdSense bootstrap tag connect to Google to obtain the applicable message before an analytics choice is made. These technical consent requests are distinct from Google Analytics measurement and from serving advertisements. If a browser or blocker prevents the CMP loading, analytics remains unavailable; gameplay remains available.

Advertising

Scene Puzzle does not currently serve third-party advertisements. We may introduce advertising in the future. Google AdSense is integrated for website privacy messaging, with advertising and analytics purpose controls. Ad serving and automatic ads are currently disabled. If website ads are activated later, Google and the partners disclosed in the consent message may process cookies or similar identifiers, IP address, browser/device information and ad interactions to deliver, measure and, when permitted, personalize advertising. You can review the actual vendor list and purposes in the Google message. Advertising activation is separate from publishing a consent message. This policy does not mean that advertising is already enabled.

If advertising is activated, third-party vendors, including Google, may use advertising cookies to serve ads based on your earlier visits to these websites or other websites. Google's advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to personalize ads using that browsing history. You can opt out of personalized Google advertising through Google Ads Settings. You can also review participating third-party advertising choices at aboutads.info, and the vendor information and controls in Google's message. These advertising choices are separate from the Analytics browser opt-out add-on linked above.

Sharing a scene

When you choose to share from an app, your device opens its system sharing interface. The destination you choose handles the shared link under its own privacy practices.

Support email

If you contact [email protected], we receive the email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. Our email providers process these messages to deliver them and support our replies. We use this information to answer your request and handle related follow-up. Please avoid sending sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request.

Storage, deletion, and choices

You can manage website cookies and local data through browser settings and app data through device settings. Restricting or clearing storage may affect game functionality. Deleting local game data does not delete analytics records or messages already received by service providers.

There is no player account to delete. For questions or requests concerning information handled by Scene Puzzle, email [email protected]. We may need information to identify the relevant request or records. We do not promise that clearing local data removes records held by Google, hosting providers, or email providers.
